Sweet Baby Emily at 3 Months

Emily,

You are such a joy to us, and we are so thankful for your precious smiles.  There are times when I look down at you, and you are just smiling up at me. I wonder how long your adorable face has been waiting for me to notice you.  I just LOVE when you do that!

You have had some tummy troubles since you've been born, and you are drinking soy milk and prune juice which seems to help.  You love being swaddled on your back and seem to prefer to keep your head laying on its right side.  You've started moving a lot in your pack in play, and sometimes I'll look over at it and see the whole thing shaking back and forth :)

You absolutely love being held, and your eyes just seem to sparkle as soon as you are picked up.  I've learned to make the most of my opportunities to hold you, and most church services I will hold you the whole service to make up for lost time.  I love your happiness.

You spend a lot of time in your bouncy chair and have started to bounce yourself in it.  Ethan and Madison still love you and help bring you your bottle, blanky, and just generally try to help out.  (Note:  sometimes their "help" is not always appreciated by you!)  However they do LOVE their baby, and try to show it.

You are growing up way too fast.  I can hardly believe that you are starting to fit into 6 mo. clothes already!  Where did the past 3 months go?  Your Dad and I are so very thankful for our sweet little Emmie.
